Get on a trolley and shop for offers around the business districts on Small Business Saturday

GREEN BAY − While many wait for Black Friday to get the best deals, Small Business Saturday offers a great opportunity to shop local and support community businesses.

Like in previous years, business districts partnered with the city of Green Bay to organize this event and offer transportation within city limits for shoppers.

On Nov. 25, trollies will operate from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to drive customers around Olde Main Street, downtown, Broadway and Military Avenue.

Here is a list of businesses featured in the event, split up by district.

Broadway District

As the day approaches, Brooke Hafs, director of resource development and marketing, said the Broadway district expects hundreds of people to visit the area.

“Last year more than 3,000 people took part in our Small Business Saturday Passport Promotion,” she said.

Hafs also said the Christkindlmarket will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, and will add more than 20 small businesses with unique holiday gifts during that time.

Along with the market, businesses in the area are planning several offers and exclusive sales:

  • Pete’s Garage will offer 20% off with the presentation of a passport, excluding sale items.
  • Zulou will have customers draw discounts, with 10 to 15 % off.
  • A Bag Lady will offer 20% off everything.
  • Aurora’s Apothecary will have clients pick a discount from a basket.
  • Neville Public Museum will have its gift shop open 9 to 5 p.m. and stocked with toys, books, games, STEM kits, and unique pieces from local artisans. Children Only Shop will be open from noon to 3 p.m. for children age 4 to 12 to shop in secret for parents, siblings, and friends. Gifts are $4 including a personalized gift tag, festive wrapping, and tax. Entrance to the Children Only Shop is included in museum admission.
  • Edit Home and Design will have a 20% off offer, excluding current featured artists.
  • Cultivate Taste Tea will offer $2 off of each one ounce tea of $10 or more and $5 off half an ounce of Matcha, Bancha Goishicha, plus 100 gram Ancient Snow White Moonlight teas, up to a 6 maximum total.
  • Salon Fifty Four will have a free gift with a purchase of $50.
  • Board & Brush will be open all day, with walk-ins and scheduled workshops. Purchase two $73 gift certificates for only $110.
  • Petal Pusher will offer a buy-one-ornament-get-one-half-off (of equal or lesser value) deal.
  • Kavarna offers a Miir Bean canister plus a bag of coffee or Miir travel mug plus a bag of coffee for $35 (normally $48).
  • Badgerland Badge & Sign Co. will offer a free ornament with a purchase $20 or more.
  • Chefusion will have a gift card promotion.
  • Besselli is letting customers pick a discount from 20 to 50% of entire purchase.

Other businesses in the area like Bay Area Burger Co., Voyageurs Bakehouse, Imago Dei Barber Lounge, Kindred Vintage, Cockloft Vintage, Best Budz and Titletown Brewing Co. are also participating in the event, but have not yet published their deals.

Downtown District

  • Camera Corner Connecting Point is offering a Canvas Bundle including three canvas wraps: one 11″x14″ canvas, one 16″x20″ canvas and one 8″x10″ canvas. Normally $180, it is discounted to $120 with gift wrapping available at no extra charge.
  • Pub 333 will add a $2 tab beer to any entrée, offer a $4 vodka drink special and will offer $1 off their fabulous fall drink menu.
  • Rummele’s Jewelers is offering a $100 gift card off $500 or more, a $250 gift card off $1,000 or more, a $500 gift card off $2,000 or more and a $500 gift card drawing.
  • Furs & Clothing of Distinction has a free gift with any purchase, a drawing for a Packer green and gold fur ball scarf (must go in store to register,) large cashmere scarves for $20 (regular price is $110) with a limit of 6; green and gold fur ball scarves for $39 (regular price $110) with a limit of 3; fingerless fur trim gloves for $22 (regular price $55) with a limit of 4, and all green and gold packer fur accessories additional will have a 10% off sale price, winter gloves additional 10% off and a special selection of fashion jewelry 50% off.
  • Mad Chicken offers a 20% off any order over $15.
  • Lion’s Mouth Bookstore will give a Lion’s Mouth Bookstore magnet with every purchase.
  • Anchor Coffee will have a buy-one-get-one-at-half-price for coffee or lotus energy drinks.
  • Waterfront Market has a 5% off all purchases offer, though some restrictions may apply.
  • Cathedral Book & Gift offers 15% off the total purchase.
  • Broken Spoke Bike Studio has 20% off all in-store items.
  • The Haberdasher Limited will give a free pair of socks with purchase.
  • Glas Coffehouse has a buy-one-get-one-half-off offer on one-pound bags of freshly roasted coffee.
  • LoCo WisCo will offer 10% off storewide, giveaways and samples.
  • St. Brendan’s Inn gives a $10 gift card when you buy a $100 gift card.
  • Hagemeister Park gives a $10 gift card when you buy a $50 gift card. House wine is also discounted to $15.
  • Player 2 Arcade Bar has a 2-for-1 on tokens ($40 maximum).
  • Brow. Beauty. Bar. has 20% off on Eminence products and 20% off of Kevin Murphy products.
  • Daily Buzz Espresso Bar will offer one bakery item half-off if you order a Winter Special drink.
  • Black & Tan Grille will offer a buy-one-get-one on appetizers.
  • Allouez Rare Coin has 10% off everything except bullion.
  • Poke the Bear will offer half0off appetizers and a free tap beer.
  • The Walnut Room is offering 10% off your entire bill.
  • Captain’s Walk Winery for the purchase of a case of wine (12 bottles,) receive a $25 gift certificate to Captain’s Walk. Also Enjoy $5 Titletown Moscato mimosas all day.
  • The Automobile Gallery is offering half-off in admission.

Olde Main Street District

Military Avenue

On Military Avenue, Leah Weycker, executive director said even if the district is smaller than the others, most of the businesses are participating in the event. This presents a chance for all of them to be discovered.

“I love Small Business Saturday as it showcases our smaller, independent businesses,” Weycker said.

The list of businesses it’s still being updated, but here are the ones who submitted their offers so far:

  • Book Stop will have a credit sale. Customers can use 100% store credit on clearance titles and spend $50 and pick an ARC from the basket (while supplies last).
  • Big Shop is offering a Lil Jamaica food gift card. For the purchase of a $100 in gift cards, get $25 free.
  • H&P Nail Spa is offering a $50 in gift certificates with $5 off.
  • Rock n Roll Land has used records for 50% off.
  • Family Pet Food Center, the first 100 customers get a free gift bag of pet products, with other specials all day.
  • Jim’s Music and Teaching Center will add an extra 20% to your gift card purchase, so get $60 for $50, limited to two purchases. Additionally, a free month of lessons are included with every instrument purchase.
  • The Pancake Place has gift certificates available.
  • Qtea House and Sense Spa will have 10% off gift certificates throughout the day.
