Festive fashion: Lidl Christmas jumper rental, Shein bus tour

Launching this year’s edition in store today (23 November), Lidl announced that its Christmas jumpers will also be available for rental for the first time on fashion rental app By Rotation.

Customers can choose from its current and past editions of Christmas jumpers between 2020 and 2023 as well as a three-piece collection by fashion designer Lydia Bolton.

Items are available to rent from 23 November to 31 December for £2 a day, with all profits going to the children’s charity NSPCC (The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).

Eshita Kabra, founder and CEO of By Rotation, said: “With Christmas being one of the top occasions of the year when the demand for purchasing single-wear outfits skyrockets, renting a festive jumper for your holiday season plans is a great way to leave a positive impact on the planet and also save money.”

Shein’s Christmas bus tour

Online fashion giant Shein will be hitting the road with its Christmas bus tour, stopping off at various cities at the beginning of December.

The gingerbread-themed bus will feature a preview of its clothing, homeware and beauty ranges as well as a nail bar. It will arrive at The Trafford Centre in Manchester on 1 December, Liverpool One on 2 December and Trinity Square in Nottingham on 3 December.

We are thrilled to create this fun and festive experience for new and existing customers so that they can meet Shein this December.”
