Strut, strut, strut and pose: Cheyenne Fashion Week event strives to empower women

CHEYENNE — The first-ever Cheyenne Fashion Week event is coming to Cheyenne on Sept. 14 and 15.

As the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” once said, “Fashion is not about utility. An accessory is merely a piece of iconography used to express individual identity. … Oh, and it’s pretty!” No one agrees with this statement more than Cheyenne Fashion Week creator Treva Roybal, who aims to empower women and showcase the accessibility of fashion through her shows.
