Women’s holiday gifts range from unique to popular

Gifts designed especially for women have made their way onto the shelves of Tahlequah businesses, with a range from unique to popular.
Paige Rhein, a Nine One Eight Salon and Boutique sales associate, said they have several gift items available for women. They include apparel, home decor, Christmas decorations, and jewelry. Rhein cited a number of Christmas-themed items, such as decorative headbands and jewelry with a holiday look.
“We have all sorts of candles and home decor – really any variety of home decor,” Rhein said.
Holiday decor at Nine One Eight includes small Christmas trees, candles, picture frames, and vases.
The boutique is selling clothing perfectly suited for the cold season, such as sweaters, flannels, jeans, sweatshirts, and more. Rhein said they have already had many patrons looking to find Christmas gifts.
Meigs Jewelry Marketing Manager Sara Barnett said they have accessories that start at $50. The diamond solitaire necklaces and diamond studs are often the store’s bestsellers, which are part of the store’s trade-up program. Patrons can start with a small size than upgrade to a bigger item at any time.
“Our designer lines, Vahan and LeVian, have been really popular for women,” Barnett said.
Necklaces and bracelets are both popular buys this season, Barnett said, and layered and stacking looks are in right now. While bracelets are a big seller, Barnett said watches are usually purchased for men rather than women. Yellow gold has been the main type of metal sought this year.
Kristy Eubanks, owner of Junie’s Closet, offers mixed media jewelry items from Kinsey Designs. Eubanks said the jewelry can be worn during every season. Eubanks’ holiday dress collection has just come out with the trending regal colors and fabrics.
Eubanks said the holiday Pura Electronic Diffuser with Volcano and Tinsel and Spice scents helps bring out the fragrance of a holiday-decorated home. The diffuser has always been a popular buy for women each year.
“Set it on a timer and let the device do the work,” Eubanks said.
A new addition to Junie’s Closet are the D’Marie cocktail mixers, which Eubanks said are perfect for when someone wants to party or just sit in front of the fire.
