Amazon slashes price on wide plate hair straightener ‘better than GHD’ by half
Amazon has dropped prices on its bestselling hair styler that gives beauty buffs “salon-worthy” glass hair in an instant. The Remington Shine Therapy Wide Hair Straightener can be ready to use in 15 seconds and straightens thick hair in a single pass.
Originally priced at £79.99, the hair straightener is now 53% off and is available to buy at £34.99. It offers wider plates than its original version so you can capture more hair in one pass so you spend less time getting ready. While ironing the tresses, the Remington bestseller also takes care of your delicate locks with micro conditioners.
More than 28,000 shoppers have purchased it on Amazon with a high rating of 4.6 as customers mentioned it left their hair “silky soft”. One said: “Lovely set of straightens, heat up fast, works well and keeps straightened for a couple of days, which is amazing as I have really thick hair! Easy to use and excellent value for money.”

I only use the lowest setting of 150 degrees as it’ s plenty hot enough for my fine hair. Would be better if you could lock in the temperature as I have to reset it every time I use them.”
