Amazon Prime Day Sales Report: Our Editors’ Top Picks
Amazon Prime Day is officially here, and needless to say… we’re stocking our carts. On our team call today, we browsed some of the deals and were pleasantly shocked; this year’s sale seems much better than the deals we’ve seen in Prime Days of yore.
Already, we’re excited to see our beloved Dyson vacuum and Airwrap styler (over $100 off, each), our everyday MVP (this Nespresso coffee maker) and the Kindle Paperwhite (trust us, getting an e-reader is a game-changer). Perhaps the biggest steal of ’em all? Apple AirPods Max headphones, over $150 off (in the cute colors, too). And if you get excited about kitchen gadgets (who doesn’t?), Shana’s favorite citrus juicer is under $20. She’s downright passionate about this thing.

Shana’s Amazon Prime Day Sale Picks
ONE: Shopbop is part of Prime Day, take 25% off select items with code PRIME25. These “select items” happen to include my two most-used bags of all time: Clare V.’s Pot De Miel and Clare V.’s Sandy Tote. I do not have the words to express how much I love these two bags, nor how much I use them. Suffice to say, A LOT. If you’ve ever trusted me on anything…trust me on this: They’re 10000% worth it.
TWO: I’ve been trying (and returning) Reformation jeans for years. I wanted to love them (sustainably made!) but never found the right fit/cut/fabric/wash/whatever. Until, that is, I tried Ref’s Cary Belted Cargo Jeans. These jeans are comfy, unique, and look freaking amazing on. I tend to like cool-girl jeans (which often skew more cool than sexy), but this is the first pair that’s both. My jaw dropped when I realized that Ref was part of Shopbop’s Prime Day Sale – their denim almost never goes on sale. Also!! Shopbop has Ref’s Cary Jeans with a cool, pieced waistband (25% off with code PRIME25).

Dyson Vacuum | Nespresso
ONE: I use my Dyson vacuum daily, and it has made my cleaning routine so much easier (especially compared to a typical vacuum). I’d been trying to convince my mom to get one, and once she started using it, she said, “Why didn’t I get this sooner??” It’s on sale for over $150 off!
TWO: And when it comes to daily indulgences, nothing beats a Nespresso machine. It makes the absolute best coffee—fast, delicious, and with incredible foam. I look forward to it every morning; regular coffee just can’t compare.
Amy’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Sweatshirt (L) | Sweater Set (L)
ONE: A striped sweatshirt that immediately perks up any outfit. Mine is similar to the feeling of a Nike/athletic sweatshirt, but apparently this version feels more like a breezy, french terry material, and is also included in the sale –plus, there’s different color options which is fun. Size up for the oversized look on the models.
TWO: One of the most fun sets to wear – feels like thick, cozy pajamas, but is too cute to just keep for the house. It’s well made, has washed up great, and I was surprised by how long the pants were (and just in general how good the sizing was).
Linzi’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Headphones | Dyson Vacuum
ONE: Fancy Headphones – My kiddos both have Beats headphones now (my 11-year-old has the small ones—also on sale)… but my hubs and I only have our little earbuds. We’re going on a very long flight to India next week to visit family, so I’m treating us both (I may have ordered the SUPER fancy ones that S recommended for myself). So excited to zone out on the plane with a series of good podcasts.
TWO: The Dyson V8 and V15 vacuum – Oooof! I have a lot to say about Dyson vacuums. If it’s in your budget, I can’t rave ENOUGH about my new V15. It has a new feature that illuminates invisible dust as you’re vacuuming and has other fantastic features as well. My 11-year-old, hubs, and I are all fairly obsessed with how gratifying the illumination feature is (the teenager in the house, unfortunately, could care less). The V8 is my fav under-$300 vacuum pick— I’ve had and loved mine for years (I find it JUST as good as the more expensive v10 series), but I WOULD suggest getting the “absolute” model on sale at Dyson if you have a lot of hard floors.
Laura’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Dress (M) | Sweatshirt (M) + Pants (M)
ONE: Don’t mind my face. I was…contemplating. I have zero poker skills, y’all. This fav dress of mine was in a different fabric in red and, while I was thrown off that the stripe version is a jersey knit instead, I am now actually in love with it. It’s lined in knit, too, so it lays nicely and isn’t see-thru. Otherwise, it’s the same dress I’ve loved for multiple summers! TTS. Wearing a M.
TWO: The BEST splurge I made last year? On Aviator Nation sweats (top + pants.) For realz. They are THE best. I lived in these all fall and winter. They have a perfect drape but are also fleecy inside. Not too thick, not too thin. They’re 25% off at Shopbop when you connect your Prime account and they’re RARELY on sale. The version on sale is almost identical, but has a rainbow heart on the chest and pants. I can’t recommend these enough, friends. TTS. Wearing a M in both. Size down if between though or for a more fitted look.
Kat’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Oura Ring | Electrolytes
ONE: I’ve owned my Oura ring for several years now, and quite honestly can say it’s my favorite health purchase, ever. I love that it tracks my sleep, my cycle and gives me so much insight into my overall health. It’s worth every penny, and I would buy it again even if it wasn’t on sale.
TWO: I’ve tried a variety of different electrolyte drink mixes, but Ultima electrolytes are still the winner in my book. I haven’t tried a single flavor that I don’t love and it makes drinking water so much tastier.
Em’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Jeans (2) | Swimsuit (s)
ONE: I know I’m usually about all the wider denim profiles (I haven’t met a barrel I didn’t love), but these Liverpool bootcut jeans are the most elongating thing I’ve put on my body in some time. They’re softly stretchy, curve-hugging and just a refreshing change-up. (It might be worth saying, my husband is also a fan.) Excellent price point — but especially for Prime Day. Mid-rise and plenty long, or ready for hacking. I’m 5’5″, usually a 25 in jeans and am wearing a 2 (with 4″ heels).
TWO: I just did a post on 7 Cute Bikinis (for those who know about my wonky-boobedness, it takes that into account — but they’re straight-up cute even if you’re boobs are perky and symmetrical), and most of them are under $30 right now. This was one of my faves because it gives traditional bikini vibes with but with way more support thanks to nice, wide, cinchable, cross-back straps and a supportive band. The bottoms are cute, too. Wearing a small.
Anne’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Dress (L) | Dyson Airwrap
ONE: This simple dress comes in a ton of prints and colors – there’s a little something for everyone. It’s just cute, feminine, and perfect for date night. Fits true-to-size.
TWO: I cannot stop praising the Dyson Airwrap. Yes, it’s an investment, but it’s the best beauty purchase I’ve ever made. This tool takes my hair from a crazy, curly mess to what it looks like above in less than seven minutes. I also use the defrizz tool to dry my hair between the gym and my first meeting when I don’t have time for a full wash and style.
Gwen’s Prime Day Sale Picks
baby monitor | baby carrier
ONE: Let’s talk pricey baby essentials…because it’s all on sale for Prime Day. We were lucky enough to have this Nanit monitor gifted to us before my little guy arrived and I’d consider this one a must-have. The picture and sound quality are incredible (you’re going to want to zoom in on that little face…trust me). Plus, you can easily connect the camera view to your phone, iPad, or desktop via the app. If you’re looking to gift a “big ticket” item to someone who’s expecting, this Prime Day sale is the perfect opportunity to snag. The Nanit sound machine is also on sale and while it’s not necessary (a regular sound machine would be just fine), I find it realllly nice to be able to control the noise machine sound + light from my phone.
TWO: Okay, onto carriers. If your baby is anything like mine, they’ll love to be all snuggly in that carrier, essentially 24/7. Though I’m a diehard Artipoppe fan (sidenote: it’s fantastic and worth every penny) I loved using the Baby Bjorn Mini carrier once my little guy hit 1 month old. Truthfully, he still felt a little tiny for the Artipoppe at that point, so the Baby Bjorn quickly became the perfect thing to wear him around. Once my guy fit into both carriers, I preferred the Artipoppe for out and about (because…pretty) and the Baby Bjorn for all-day, every day at the house and for walks around the neighborhood. This washes well, is very easy to get on/off by yourself and works for 0-12 months.
Julieta’s Prime Day Sale Picks
CC Cream | Deodorant
ONE: This Erborian CC cream is always on my skin. I’ve been a huge fan of it for at least 5 years. It conceals my rosacea, gives me an even tone on no-makeup days, and works as primer on makeup days. I use the Dore shade, and it comes in a lighter and darker shade as well. A must-have!
TWO: A newer product to me, but I am completely in love with this plant powered deodorant. I love the non-plastic packaging, and it does a fantastic job with the deodorant part. I also got it for my preteen, no complaints so far!
Bev’s Prime Day Sale Picks
Tiered Dress | Cut-Out Dress
ONE: I bought this dress almost a year and half ago, and it is still one of my favorite pieces that I reach for every summer and fall. I love pairing it with a blazer or a turtleneck underneath when the weather gets cooler.
TWO: Pieces that make it easy for me to get dressed and out the door are always great, especially during sports soccer and baseball season. This cutout dress is one that fits the criteria.
