Boots introduces major designer brand that has shoppers ‘running’ to stores

Boots has extended its already impressive line-up of major brands by introducing a major luxury name that has shoppers “running” to stores.

Alongside a variety of high street brands, the pharmacy chain also stocks an extensive range of premium beauty brands across categories such as cosmetics, fragrance and even haircare. These include YSL, Armani and even Kerastase.

Now shoppers will be able to find a selection of products from Prada Beauty both in stores and online. Launched online on July 17, the premium fashion house will also land in select Boots stores nationwide throughout the month.

Beauty fans will now be able to shop a curated collection of 140 cosmetics lines such as complexion, lip and eye products from the premium beauty brand. When we checked online, there were a few products with prices ranging between £31 to £65.

One product that is sure to fly off the shelves is the brand’s viral colour-changing Blushing Care Lip Balm that has been a favourite on TikTok. Priced at £31, this balm uses Micro-BlushingTM Technology that adapts to the lips’ PH.

Designed to provide up to 24 hours worth of lip comfort, it has been infused with nourishing ingredients such as Bifidus Extract and Jojoba Oil. On Boots alone, it has a 4.5 rating for its “buttery smooth” feeling and “beautiful” packaging.

Other items shoppers can find include the Skin Optimising Foundation available in 33 flexible shades. Meanwhile, there is also the brand’s pigmented Dimensions Eyeshadow Palettes.

The retailer sent shoppers wild for the premium beauty brand after it confirmed on Instagram that it was now available to shop. One delighted user expressed: “Boots are killing it.”

A second beauty fan gushed: “Excited for this.” Another shopper lamented: “Running!!!”

Beauty deal of the week

A tanning moisturiser that has been praised for its bronzing results is on sale this Amazon Prime Day.

The Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk is enriched with a coconut scent and buyers say it applies easily for a “streak-free” tan. Even better, it has been reduced to £7.72 on Amazon as part of the retailer’s major sale.

The Gradual Tanning Milk is designed for everyday used, being formulated with aloe vera and vitamin E to nourish the skin. It promises to produce a gradual glow, making it ideal for beauty fans looking for a hint of colour and not and orange tint.

The quick-drying and innovative dual action formula is made for a smooth application and to deliver a deep but natural, long-lasting glow. The Gradual Tanning Milk has been praised on Amazon’s shopping reviews, earning itself a 4.3 out of five star rating overall.

One delighted shopper lamented: “Never leave reviews but I had to for this. I used dove gradual tanner for years, but since they discontinued the shimmer lotion I’ve begrudged using it. This was the best switch! If you like the smell of cocoa butter like myself, you’ll love this. Smells so much nicer than other gradual tanners.”

A second five star reviewer wrote: “It dries fast, non-greasy and doesn’t affect my sensitive skin at all. No streaks and develops into a lovely colour (I have red undertones and pale skin) but I find this doesn’t make me look orange!”

Another excited customer expressed: “I need to lay down.”

Alice Rafferty, Director of Luxury Beauty and Cosmetics at Boots, said: “As the home of beauty on the high street, we are thrilled that Boots is now the largest stockist of Prada Beauty in the UK. We are committed to bringing the best in beauty to our customers and offer a choice of over 500 brands at Boots. With sales growth across our premium brands this year we are pleased to be bringing yet another iconic name to our beauty-loving customers.”

Prada Beauty is just the latest big name brand to go available at Boots recently. The health and beauty chain has launched a series of premium brands this summer including the likes of Supergoop!, LANEIGE and Made by Mitchell.

Beauty enthusiasts can shop Prada Beauty in select Boots stores nationwide and online now.
