The 2024 NYFW Makeup Trends We’re Still Thinking About
Modern take on ’50s glam
Makeup artist lead at Alice + Olivia’s show, Michela Wariebi, was inspired by ’50s makeup looks with a bit of a modern twist. She used Tarte products to achieve her vision. An artist backstage called the looks very femme, soft, timeless and ethereal. The looks largely featured a classically groomed brow, clean black liner, lots of lashes, beautiful skin and a very strong red lip. The lips tended to be heavily lined, which is where more of the modern interpretation came in.
