Delicates for Dignity

¯ The Zonta Club of the MOV will sponsor its Delicates for Dignity Fundraiser through the end of October to support under-privileged girls and women in the community by providing feminine hygiene products, new bras and underwear. Items will be distributed at food pantries, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters and middle and high schools. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 634, Marietta, OH 45750. Venmo monetary donations can be made to @zontamov. Feminine hygiene products, bras and undies may be dropped off at Advantage Real Estate, 103 Putnam St., Marietta. Monday Afternoon Craft Club

Movie Discussion

Reagan Day Dinner

¯ The Washington County Republican Party will host its Reagan Day Dinner at 5:30 p.m. today, at the Marietta Shrine Club. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased by calling 304 481-5015 or at its Facebook page. Tickets must be purchased in advance, no sales at the door.

Unique Boutique

¯ The Zonta Club of the MOV will hold its fall Unique Boutique gently used clothing sale from 2-8 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, coats, shoes, purses and bags, jewelry, and accessories will be accepted from 4-8 p.m. today through Thursday at the Reno Community Center 260 Sandhill Rd. Marietta. Donations may also be dropped off at Advantage Real Estate and McCarthy Real Estate during their regular business hours. Saturday will be an all day bag sale. Concessions will also be sold. All money raised will be used for service projects.

Gilman United Methodist Church

• Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta, offers worship at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Adult Sunday school class is at 9:15 a.m. Coffee, light refreshments and fellowship available. A weekly adult Bible study with Pastor Doug Thompson will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome.

Ballroom Dancing Classes

• Weekly ballroom dancing classes will be held 7-10 p.m. second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at Miller Prosthetics, 2311 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg. Dress is casual. Cost is a $5 per person donation with singles and couples welcome.

FLEDA Banquet

• The Frontier Local Economic Development Association (FLEDA) is planning their annual banquet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in the Frontier High School cafeteria. Cost $35 per ticket.
