From glazed doughnut tips to 3D Korean-style manis, 2023 has seen an array of outlandish (yet very fashion-forward) nail trends – thanks to celebrity influence, social media and ofc, the runway. However, today, taking it one step further with her molten lava look is Anitta with a set that’ll be sure to go up in flames and down in history. *Cue all the fire emojis*
Revealed just yesterday, Vogue Arabia shared that Brazilian singer and songwriter, Anitta is the cover star for their December 2023 issue. And while the talented 30-year-old is shown to be sporting a number of head-turning fashion and beauty looks for the shoot, it was one snap in particular that caught our attention.

With an expression that reads ‘I own 51 per cent of this company’, Anitta is giving major boss b*atch vibes with a beyond glam head-to-toe look. The ensembles worn were curated by fashion stylist, Julia Muller.
And fusing the glitz of jewellery with the pizazz of nail art, Julia opted to bring the best of fashion and beauty together with what looks to be melting lava fingertips. Are they nail guards or has Anitta dipped her pointers in iridescent candle wax? I guess we’ll never know…
But what we’re for sure certain of is that this creativity and beauty innovation is what drives upcoming trends. So, watch out folks for we predict the everyday mani is about to get an OTT revamp!
