Khushi Kapoor championed an element of gothic beauty for Vogue India’s Forces of Fashion 2023

Khushi Kapoor created a dark and ethereal aura at the Forces of Fashion event last night with her all-black Jean Louis Sabaji structured tuxedo-esque dress. To elevate the ensemble, The Archies actor donned a dark cosmetic ensemble, ditching the sweet and demure look of her character Betty, and an artfully styled low knot. The brown tones of the look complemented her ensemble and made the entire get-up quite cohesive. Khushi Kapoor’s opulent look was created and envisioned by Marce Pedrozo. The look comprised of bold tones on a bronzy high-shine base. Her eyes were accentuated with a heavy application of kohl on both her undereye and eyelid on a brown-toned eyeshadow base. The kohl was then blended out to a smoky wing and topped with a slight shimmer. To match the brown tones of her eye makeup, her lips were painted a deep brown. The look was finished off with highlighter, contour, a wash of blush, and body shimmer for the high shine effect.

The hairdo that Khushi sported was a true piece of art. Reminiest of the 1920s flapper girl finger curls, the front of her hair was parted on the side and sleeked away in a slight curl, highlighting her caramel streaks. The rest of her mane was sleekly pulled back into a knot on the nape of her neck. The look added the sleek sophistication that her ensemble was creating. With the feathers that adorned her dress, the dark enchanting makeup and the rest swept back knot, Khushi Kapoor gave the illusion of the black swan.
