Why didn’t Stüssy’s first jewellery collection happen sooner?

We’re talking .925 sterling silver necklaces complete with “S”-shaped pendants. Chunky cuban-style bracelets with dice charms. Championship rings with the imprint’s iconic interlocking “S” motif. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Stüssy drop without an 8-ball here and there. Its first set of studded earrings are finished with pearls and 8-ball details. And while these probably can’t tell you about your future or if your crush likes you back, one thing’s for sure: this is going to be the toughest piece to cop.

Stüssy’s move into jewellery may be long overdue, but they’re not the first streetwear stalwart to take the plunge. Back in December, Manchester’s very own Represent unwrapped its first jewellery line. And while it was a totally unexpected collection, it makes complete sense.
